The dynamic version does work, as long as the right version of the motif
locker is attached and in your LD_LIBRARY_PATH and such. I set up the
installation in the outland locker with the dynmotif binaries once, found
that it caused more complicated dependencies and lossage, and decided it
wasn't worth saving a few MB of virtual memory by using that version. I
think you'll probably reach the same conclusion.
