the redhat security patches are starting to pile up. If we do not
update sipb-nfs, frosh will likely install vulnerable linux servers
RSN. if you don't have time to update sipb-nfs, can you explain which
update file(s) to tweak? Today I added:
ftp://ftp.redhat.com/redhat/updates/5.2/i386/vixie-cron-3.0.1-36.5.2.i386.rpm
ftp://ftp.redhat.com/redhat/updates/4.2/i386/vixie-cron-3.0.1-36.4.2.i386.rpm
to the 4.2 and 5.2 update directories in the linux locker. but I do
not have access to sipb-nfs.mit.edu.
Also, there are inconsistencies b/w the linux locker and sipb-nfs.
sipb-nfs:/redhat/current points to 4.2. But /mit/linux/redhat/current
points to 5.2. an update.pl does not exist for redhat 5.2, only for
4.2.
