You realize that outgoing is just going to relay the mail through ssa
or pca, right?

Ron can probably speak for network better than I can, but network
specifically wanted athena machines to continue using the
athena.mit.edu alias for relaying, and not outgoing.  Maybe Linux
machines should be thought of differently since there are no cluster
machines (yet), but I don't think so.
