Hi,

I'm running Linux-Athena from off-campus and the mailhubs are
bouncing my mail when they do not contain an MIT address in the
recipients. I'm using the standard Linux-Athena sendmail.cf,
which we're distributing with the RH-A 5.2 code. So, my envelope
information is, of course, from warlord@MIT.EDU.

Enclosed is a log from sendmail -v -t, and at the end is an example of
the type of bounce I get.

Linux-dev: if this bug is considered a 'new feature' of the MIT
mailhubs, I recommend we ditch the Athena sendmail.cf and build our
own which will actually work properly from off campus. I know there
are a number of MIT people off-campus who like to run Linux-Athena.

Thanks,

-derek

Dave, I'm just showing MIT that their mailhubs are broken.

So, the HSI Demo is in Warwick, RI on Thursday, March 4. We were
talking about going. I was wondering if you'd prefer to carpool
or fly down there, assuming you're interested in going.

Let me know.
