Oops, I accidentally killed Keesh. Sorry.

I installed the new kernel (pl10) and new libc (4.4) on Keesh.
I also installed the three main packages for the new net code
(net-base.tar.z, net-ext.tar.z, net-std.tar.z).
This made a horrible disgusting mess of /etc. I hope to someday have
the time to clean that up. Better yet, I hope somebody else cleans it
up and I dont have to worry about it. :-)
Now, about the death of Keesh: I cant find a sample rc.net file
anywhere. I also cant find a README or docs for the new net code.
That is, I have very little idea of what to put in rc.local to get it
to work. (ifconfig? route?) There are people getting this message
who have successfully set up the net-2... Anybody care to bring in
some configuration files?
The other alternative is for me to read the f... manual pages and get
things working. I'll see if that drastic course of action becomes
necessary.
In the meantime, Keesh is somewhat off the net. (You can ping it
successfully, but it times out if you try to do anything network
related from it.) This is all my fault, I was a moron, you may flame
me at will.
Have a nice day.
