   I have copied the disk image into /afs/sipb/project/linux/boot-net,
   and have written a README for the disk image.  I would appreciate it
   if people would read the README and give me feedback.

I'd suggest moving step 7 (configuring the network) before step 6
(mounting your hard drive).  Not everyone will want to do step 6,
especially if they can't get the network up and running.

Also step 6 should probably be expanded a bit, and appropriate warnings
placed in about how mke2fs will completely trash the previous contents
of a disk partition.  It should also include more information (and more
warnings) about how to use fdisk.  Hmmm.... Actually, it might make more
sense to separate all of what's currently in step 6 into another
document.
