Rather than fully fixing libc5 compatability, we may just want to
get binaries built of the things that actually matter.
I've rebuilt xv. The other big one that needs it is perl.
Could someone with clue and bits rebuild that?
What else major needs rebuilding to work? We should probably test out
the major commercial apps (Matlab, Xess, etc).
