In preparation for the eventual release of RedHat Linux-Athena 5.2,
I've moved around some of the Linux executables and libraries in
the graphics locker. The changes will take place tomorrow after
the volume is released. If you see any programs in the graphics locker
stop working which previously had been working, please let
me know. The change shouldn't actually have any noticable effect.
Note that /mit/graphics/arch/i386_linux3 is now separate
from i386_linux[12] and has libraries and some binaries
built against glibc2. In particular, this should mean that
xv will start working again on systems running 5.2.
Things which are known not to work:
The GIMP (actually in the gimp locker) is known
to be broken under 5.2. This will get fixed eventually.
ImageMagik is horribly out of date on all platforms
and doesn't work on i386_linux[23]. I've removed the
binaries for in i386_linux3 and will rebuild a newer
version for all platforms eventually.
