From: svalente@MIT.EDU Date: Thu, 2 Dec 93 21:50:55 -0500 To: linux-dev@MIT.EDU In an effort to make the one-letter-usernames less important, I installed as /bin/login the login from the kerberos tree, with a little hack so that if it can't find your homedir, it tries to attach your username. The source is in /usr/athena/src/src/login. It might actually work. -Sal.
