The RH-A Installation System (e.g. /mit/linux/devel/redhat/*/install/...)
does this (well, at least resolv.conf).  I'm not sure what changes to

See above.  The latter is done by creating multiple components files,
one for each configuration.  Then there is a master file which lists
each components file and the name of the configuration.

I've already started working on the install media.  I've got the
sources in the respository and the 5.2 code merged.  I just need to
attempt to build the programs and then test them out.  I should be
able to get to that later this week or next week.
