Longer, though it's gotten worse lately.  For instance, they never
bumped libc 5 past 5.3.12, even though 5.4 has been out and stable for
quite some time.

There are also some issues with 5.1, particular wrt running old libc 5
binaries.  (The compatibility package is woefully incomplete.)
