Corel, the maker of the Netwinder (StrongARM based Linux network
computer), is going to be releasing another StrongARM Linux box
packaged with a full office suite (Wordperfect, et. al.) in a few
months.

Dan Hildreth, the Business Development Manager is going to be giving a
on-campus presentation on Oct 21st, but before then wants to know more
about who uses Linux at MIT and how it is used. I figured SIPB
Linux-Athena was especially relevent. He also wants to know what
people would be interested in hearing about on the 21st, and what Corel
could do to make the Netwinder more useful/appealing.

Pehr Anderson has scheduled an informal meeting to talk with him
tomorrow at noon, at the Media Lab. We don't want the meeting to get
too big/crowded, but a few people from linux-dev would be good to have
at the meeting. So, I'm looking for 1-3 people who could make and
would be interested. If you can't make it, but have
comments/suggestions, email me and I will bring them up at the
meeting.
