I'd like to make two requests here:
First, that changes to the release branch only happen as
pullups from the mainline. I realize that in many cases the effect is
the same, but it keeps a consistent worldview and makes it easier to
track what changes that have been made on the mainline actually made
it in to the release.
Second, that the minimum number of people touch the release
branch. For netbsd-dev, that was just one person; me. Since we have
two development efforts using the same branch, it's find for linux-dev
to have a person doing pullups, but I'd like it to be just one
person. I think that this is desirable from the linux-dev release
engeneering perspective as well as from my perspective of trying to
maintain a stable NetBSD-Athena release.
