So, even though I am not on the Linux development Team (granted, I don't
even know about developing period, nevermind for linux) I have noticed
that due to whatever, the SIPB linux release is very very behind. As
the Athena Release Team will be getting 8.2 out this fall, our Linux
machines are still running version 7.7 (I can see problems with this,
especially with Kerberos 5 becoming the standard).

So, I would like to learn. I would like to learn how to help put out a
Linux release (maybe by the end of next term... I am being generous),
and would like that release to be updating the one we have now.

Can anyone help me out?
