matlab on RH 4.2?

Hi,

I don't think I saw this in sipb-athena-bugs, but I could be wrong, so in
that case, disregard this.

I don't know if this is a matter for the locker maintainer or for the SIPB,
but running Matlab on the latest beta doesn't work because there's no
/lib/elf/ld-linux.so.1. It strikes me as an odd place to look for a shared
library, especially since symlinking /lib/ld-linux.so.1 to that location
works just fine, but the Matlab run script won't run without it. I typed
the following to start matlab:

add matlab
matlab

that's it.

Perhaps the locker maintainer should be notified, or maybe the release
version of 4.2 should just have that symlink?

thanks,
Edwin

ps: is there a linux-athena-bugs archive or equivalent just for linux-dev
reports?
