A long time ago, I wrote:

I installed RedHat Athena 4.2 on lola-granola. Fun.

I've done so again. Fun.

	/usr/athena/lib is missing libcom_err.a and libss.a.

This was sort of fixed. libcom_err.a was put in the devel package, but
libss.a was left out. I've put libss.a in the package (via
/mit/linux/packages/package-lists) and built a new devel package (via
makepackage).

Sendmail should probably not be accepting connections by default.

This was also sort of fixed. That is, the script to modify
sendmail.init looks good, but somehow, sendmail.init was unchanged.
Come to think of it, so were the other files that are supposed to be
patched by the athena-rc package. I'm guessing "patch" wasn't
installed yet. I've make "patch" a dependency of the athena-rc
package.

The RedHat mh package should almost certainly not be
	installed by default.

This was also sort of fixed. mh was removed from the default
installation, but exmh was left in the default installation. exmh
requires mh, so RedHat was nice enough to give me a little warning and
install mh for me. I've removed exmh from the default installation
(via /mit/linux/devel/redhat/install/server/i386/RedHat/base/comp*.)

I removed the Giant Security Hole From Hell from attach.conf.

This was also sort of fixed. It was fixed in the source tree, but not
installed on the system packs. I installed it in /srvd, and built a
new attach package.

Quick, let's release this before we "fix" anything else! :-)

Have a nice day.
-Sal.
