For what it's worth:
1. [something] is "packages".
2. I didn't like the name "do-not-use-me-blah-blah-blah" because it
messed up my "ls" output and because it drew attention to a directory
that should be ignored. I renamed it to "Attic".
Anyway, /mit/linux/packages/Attic still contains the last set of elf
packages for Slackware, but does not contain a.out packages. I don't
know when they were erased.
