I've just installed the beta of Redhat-Athena 4.2. The first time I tried,
it failed. Part of the error message was: exited abnormally with signal 11.
(This may not have been the error message's exact wording, I was annoyed
enough to reboot immedately and reinstall before thinking to write it down)
I rebooted after removing the install disk, and the boot manager stopped at
LI_ instead of writin out LILO:
So I reinstalled, and it was successful. X is messed up, but that's not
really related since it was messed up before (17" moniter can only sync at
640x480, it's been doing this since the power outage on August 8th).
There is a problem: none of the users in the passwd file can log in remotely.
I have NOREMOTE set to true in my rc.conf file, and don't know why this is
happening. I don't know if this is a bug or if I'm doing something wrong.
