update.pl doesn't work right now due to the db package
having the sh dependency. someone with RPM clue should
probably explode it and rebuild it without that dependency
(or do something to make it install without needing --nodeps).
given a few recent reports of break-ins, it may make
sense to urge people to update their machines.
