There have been a number of pcmcia problems loading redhat linux onto
laptops. Redhat released a fixed bootdisk which corrected the
problem. I've incorporated the redhat change into the redhat-athena
bootdisks.
The new redhat-athena bootdisks have been released into the redhat
install directory:
/mit/linux/redhat/current/i386/images
If you were having problems installing redhat-athena due to pcmcia
problems, I recommend you try these new disks. If you have problems,
send mail to linux-dev@mit.edu.
Have a Happy New Year!
