Athena Redhat installation problem

It appears that every time someone installs Redhat-Athena and selects
all packages, the machine starts sending mail to news@mit.edu twice
every night. I have not confirmed this claim by doing an installation
myself, but there is definitely an INN package in /redhat on
small-gods, and some of the reponses to a recent set of requests from
Martha indicate that people did use the SIPB installation.
This problem needs to be fixed very quickly, and it needs to be a
priority for linux-dev that this not happen in new release or when
people update the RPMs on small-gods. You can make a local alias for
news on Redhat-Athena machines or take whatever other measures are
necessary, but it's not acceptable for this problem to continue
cropping up.
