I'm writing to you because I got your names from recent OLC Logs and
Linux-Help logs, looking for RedHat-Athena installation problems.
I've just downloaded and incorporated the new RedHat install code into
the RedHat-Athena installation system. The result is two new floppies
(boot.img and supp.img).
I was wondering if you would be willing to test these floppies for me?
It should fix the PCMCIA TCIC problem, as well as the aic? problem.
Even if you've already installed RedHat-Athena (or NetBSD, if you gave
up in Linux), could you please test my new floppies before I release
them?
The floppies are in:
/mit/linux/people/warlord/redhat/rembrandt/bootdisks/images
From that directory, create the appropriate disks:
dd if=boot.img of=/dev/fd0 bs=32k conv=sync
dd if=supp.img of=/dev/fd0 bs=32k conv=sync
Then try using them.
Please let me know if you have any questions, problems, concerns,
complaints, compliments, etc.
Thanks!
