The major problem is that small-gods doesn't have enough disk space to
hold all the various redhat releases... It barely has enough space
for the x86 3.0.3 and 4.0 releases. Granted, we can remove the 3.0.3
release relatively soon, but we always need to have room for two
releases. This way we can stage the next release without desupporting
the current release.
I don't know of anywhere else where you can find redhat in NFS. You
can always install via FTP..
Besides, Linux-Athena is currently only supported on Linux/x86. And
small-gods is the RedHat-Athena install server, not the RedHat install
server. If you'd like to donate 1-2GB for use to house a mirror of
redhat 4.0 for Alpha and Sparc, we might be able to house it..
As for whom to speak to.. The address is probably linux-dev@mit.edu.
I've cc'ed this message there for others to read. If anyone else has
anything to add, I'm sure they'll speak up.
Enjoy!
