To: linux-dev@MIT.EDU Date: Thu, 24 Oct 1996 21:37:58 EDT From: Patrick McCormick <pmccormi@MIT.EDU> Hi. I did some work on the web pages. First, I guess we're using RCS, as Erik started checking things in a few days ago. Second, the front page has the new Redhat discuss meetings added and a note that the "mount: Invalid arguments" thing was fixed. This was also added to the errata page. Third, I finished my rewrite of the FAQ page. We now have a total of six sections and 24 questions, hyperlinked all over. I will split it into six files if it needs to be; I'm not sure if it is yet. The questions are mostly derived from Sit's text file, from things people have asked me, and some issues that came up recently on linux-help. Please send me mail if there's a mistake or a new FAQ and I'll fix it. Finally, if someone wants to run an IAP class, I can help, but I am not able to do it alone. I think a one-session "watch us install Linux" like last year would be good. (was it one session?) --Pat
