>> "last" is confused:

True. Either something on linux doesn't like the name "svalente", or
I have some incredibly stupid habit that screws up "last". (????)
All I know is, last is generally screwed up on Quiche and my home
computer and the Linux box where I work. I've asked around and posted
to comp.os.linux.help, and apparently nobody else has ever seen "last"
get screwed up on a Linux box, so it must be me. Sigh.

>> How come quiche doesn't reactivate?

Because I had no idea what reactivating meant when I "ported" Xlogin,
so I didn't set the correct #defines. I think I've learned a fair
amount about xlogin and stuff since then, so maybe in my copious spare
time someday, I'll nuke the xlogin suite and get the athena sources
again and try to port it right. Unless somebody else wants to do it.

(Wow, I've answered two questions in a row with "my fault".)

Also, we will probably need a Quiche-specific /etc/reactivate script.
Anybody want to create one?

Also my fault... (Wow, a hat trick!) That's one of the
aforementioned Xlogin bugs. One of the more annoying ones.
(Control-P and most other xlogin options crashing the system is also
annoying... And /etc/groups never getting cleaned is annoying...)

Have a nice day.
