I found this floating in my inbox.. I checked and all the pieces seem to be
there in /mit/PCLU/lib/code/cmp, ccdbg.cmd and ccopt.cmd probably just need
to be symlinked to cc{dbg,opt}.cmd.linux.aout (??)..

What effect will this have on people not on an ELF-based system? Can we
do something like have cc{dbg, opt}.cmd be symlinks to
cc{dbg,opt}.cmd.linux{.aout} depending on the value of sys (ie linux for
i386_linux1 and linux.aout for i386_linux2?)

Oh, something would have to be done about plink, to...

Subject: PCLU and Linux ELF

I'm able to get PCLU running with Linux dual ELF/a.out system if I add
the following flag to cc in both

"-b i486-linuxaout"

PCLU/lib/code/cmp/ccdbg.cmd
PCLU/lib/code/cmp/ccopt.cmd
PCLU/lib/exe/plink

This is a good interim solution in case recompiling for ELF is a large
PITA.
