Most likely this is a result of a VERY OLD dvips installation
in the sipb locker. It was probably built in a.out format.
That's true. Arguably, TeX and dvips should be part of sipb-athena.
Arguably, dvips should be removed from the Sipb locker since it's part
of Athena these days.
It should be rebuilt for i386_linux2.
We should rebuild all of /mit/sipb/linuxbin in ELF format, but then
again, I'd like to see the current sipb locker go away RSN...
(Actually, that's no excuse, and I do plan to rebuild much of
/mit/sipb/linuxbin for the current sipb locker.)
