Subject: Installation off the Net

I was wondering if someone could offer me a bit of assistance with this
problem that I am having. Currently, I am trying to install Linux off
the net (from smallgods.mit.edu), but I am running into problems
mounting NFS:
mount clntdup_create: RPC port mapper failure : RPC timed out
Current mount table:
/dev/fd0 on type minix (rw)
none on /proc type proc (rw)
I ran ifconfig and get the following:

.......
UP BROADCAST LOOPBACK RUNNING MTU 3584 Metric 1
RX packets 36 errors 0 dropped 0 overruns 0
TX packets 36 errors 0 dropped 0 overruns 0

The ethernet is a 3C590 Combo, and the system appears to detect it
without a problem. I am retty sure that I also have the correct IP
address both for the host machine and the gateway I am using.
Any sort of direction or aid would be greatly appreciated. Thanks a
lot.
