Debian has also been good wrt security holes (most of the ones that
have hit cert recently were already fixed in debian) but debian hasn't
been "marketing" them that well. The bug list is available to the
public (and to all the volunteer maintainers :-) off of
www.debian.org... well, far off but you can find it easily enough.
