With the support of the ACMG, the PC Unix Evaluation team has formed to
investigate using Intel Unix machines as a possible low cost Athena cluster
platform. The initial scope of the team will be to evaluate the myriad of
hardware and especially software choices available and decide which if any of
them would provide a useful low end cluster machine.
Discussion and announcements will be on the pcue@mit.edu mailing list and is
archived in the world readable 'pcue' discuss meeting on menelaus.
