Speaking of which, I just installed RedHat on a few machines
at work. Over all, I was really impressed with it
(as compared to Slackware).

Things I like:

	- It comes with lots of cool utilities and programs
	  (many more than Slackware does)

	- I like the /etc/rc.d/ setup it uses (using init.d, SysV style).
I think this would make drop-in installation considerably easier.

	- The package manager makes upgrading thigs easy (although
reverting an upgrade if you have problems seems hard).

	- The installation tool seems cleaner and "smarter"
	  than Slackware.

	- They have an errata page of bug-fixes and security
fixes. Installing these upgrade packages is trivial.

Problems I've noticed:

	- The flip side of it having lots of cool stuff is
that it's BIG (compared to Slackware).
A full installation isabout 300 MB!!!

	- I find their system of having a gazillion boot
disk images to be a little disconcerting, but I guess it makes sense
	  for some cases.

There are probably some other things I forgot about and I'll
send mail when I remember.
