Hi,
I'm kind of in charge of doing linux documentation for SIPB. I've browsed
through your pages and I noticed a number of things which could use
clarification or improvement. Since it is already confusing enough to install
Linux considering how disorganized SIPB's Linux distribution is, I don't think
it is beneficial to have someone else offering instructions and packages
which may or may not be in sync with what SIPB is offering.
If you are interested in helping clean up the Linux installation/distribution
process, I'd be interested in meeting with you (mmm. I wouldn't mind a
meeting of everyone who considers themselves involved with SIPB Linux-Athena)
to discuss improving it and integrating our work.
(I am free most of tomorrow afternoon, if you're available then. I'll probably
be in the SIPB office at some point.)
Emil
