That's right, putting "STRING dkk" on a list would result in my
receiving the email sent to that list, but would not give me group
membership (for NFS or AFS access), and would not give me any Moira
permissions that go with membership in the list.
Note: This is not a supported feature. It just happens to work, and
we use it for some of our own lists (e.g. dbadmin and administrators).
We reserve the right to make it cease to work at any time (though we'd
only do that for a good reason).
I really wouldn't advise doing this. You're much better off creating
two lists; one for discussion purposes, and another for filesystem
access control purposes.
