I've been trying to get the tcsh in sipb-athena to work properly with Linux
but it doesn't seem to work very well as a shell. I completely rebuilt it
this afternoon, but it is unable to execute any external commands (at
least, not many). You can observe this by trying to run
/afs/sipb/system/i386_linux1/srvd/bin/athena/tcsh. It'll probably hang
after one or two commands, leaving a zombie process around.
Does anyone know the cause of this behavior? Is it safe to use
/afs/sipb/project/tcsh/tcsh instead? I think ghudson said not to at one
point but I forget why.
