I heard that a few people needed a kernel with 3c590 support. I just
made one for a friend last week.
I compiled an a.out kernel 1.2.13 that has the 3c590 driver. I tested
it with Slackware 3.0 and successfully installed via Maze. Feel
free to move it to someplace more appropriate:
/mit/linux/fubob/zimage_3c590
After writing the image to disk, choose a rootdisk and *gunzip* it,
*unlike* the 3.0 directions state. Then write the gunzipped image to
disk. My image doesn't support the gzippped rootdisk method used
in slackware 3.0.
