I noticed that some static X library on Keesh was screwed up. (I
didn't bother figuring out which one. However, when I took some Xaw
programs that compiled and ran fine with dynamic libraries and
compiled them with static libraries, they crashed.)

I decided to replace the static libraries, so I got most of the
XFree-1.3 release. (We had been, and in some ways still are, running
XFree-1.2.)

I installed the new static libraries, and, since they seemed to go
together, I installed the new dynamic libraries and include files.
These haven't been tested much yet, let me know if things seem to
break.

I haven't yet installed the XFree-1.3 binaries, man pages, or
library-type stuff. Is there really any reason to bother with that
stuff?

Have a nice day.
-Thal.
