Sorry, I didn't say what I meant about UMSDOS.

What I meant to say is that several people have inquired about Linux and
NetBSD, only to choose not to install it because they couldn't/didn't
want to repartition.  UMSDOS is a slightly slower filesystem than ext2,
but not slower than most users would notice.  It also allows users
who don't want to repartition to use a Unix-like OS for their PC.
(Our current documentaiton doesn't mention UMSDOS, I told the aforementioned
users about UMSDOS when they didn't want to repartition.)

Greg also gave the intriguing idea that we could make a ZIP file available
containing a basic Linux-Athena setup.  A user would just have to choose
the right VMLINUZ, run LOADLIN, and be on their way.  We should make
Linux and Linux/Athena as easy as possible for PC owners to use.
