Hi,
I'm writing because we recently set up a shared directory for use
within our Department. (afs/athena.mit.edu/org/a/arch/hq_admin/)
When we edit documents directly in this directory, they are
automatically deleted. In order to use this directory we save working
versions on our computers and save them to the directory for access by
others. This is obviously not efficient.
Is there anything that can be done to solve this problem? At least one
document has been lost completely.
