At least at one point, the cache partition wouldn't be unmounted even if
afsd wasn't stored on the cache partition, because AFS was keeping files
open on the cache partition.  This was the basis of my comments that
storing the AFS cache partition on the root didn't help.  I just made
did a quick test, and this continues to be true; simply moving afsd to
the root partition isn't good enough to avoid the cache partition from
being treated as unclean.

I haven't tried moving some of the other files in the /usr/vice/etc
directory, like the CellServDB file, that might be the next experiment
to try....
