Actually, I got it from the libAL sources, which is basically the same
thing. I did this about 20 to 30 seconds after realizing that I
accidentally left isremotedir() empty in login.c.
Sorry, I thought it was more clear from my previous message. I found
_and fixed_ the problem. The source in /mit/linux-athena/login is
fixed, with regard to this bug.
