Hello;
Due to some conflicts with other meetings on Nov. 30, we are postponing our
next Software Accessibility Team meeting until Dec. 7 at 10 AM. I hope
this is
a good time for everyone. I will send out a reminder after Thanksgiving.
Jean Foster has been attempting to get a Student Technology Consultant
involved
to work on an instructional web site illustrating the various guidelines
according to level of knowledge (purchaser, programmer, etc...). If we cannot
locate someone from STC, we will look for another source of web based help.
Kathy is working on having the whole policy issue made clearer. Kathy and
Jean
are also trying to determine levels of priority for the guidelines. If you
have a half hour or so, could you please review the guidelines at
http://web.mit.edu/is/integration/projects/softaccessibility/
and review the guidelines for priorities? We would like to have some sort of
"Top Ten" list of guidelines to highlight the most important ones.
Thanks and have a good holiday,
Kathy
