Given the assorted mail that has been sent about "SymbMath", I would like
to clarify to the users of this list what I consider to be "reasonable"
traffic for this list.

1. Messages should conform to the basic idea of the list (ie: mail
about mathematical software packages and their applications).

2. Messages should follow the general precepts of USENET newsgroups.
One of those precepts is to ban, or at least segregate, commercial
(advertising) traffic from other message traffic.

3. Messages should not be unduly offensive or generate numerous complaints
from other users of the list. I have no desire to act as "policeman"
or "moderator", but I will try to respond to reasonable complaints from
   users of the list.

Just to make the point perfectly clear, I have no objection to seeing
discussions about SymbMath, any more than I would object to seeing
discussions about Maple, Mathematica, SAS, or any other such package.
However, commercial propaganda is not appropriate, and based on complaints
I have received from other users of the list, such traffic is not desired.
