[MIT Only] Query to MIT faculty using Maple

To MIT faculty:
I'm involved in beta testing the new release (4) of Maple on Unix
workstations; if all goes well I hope we will be shifting to the new
version on Athena in the not-too-distant future. To assist me in
testing the product properly, I'd appreciate it if all MIT faculty
members on this mailing list could notify me about how they plan on
using Maple in the subjects they'll be teaching this year. That way
we can try and test any existing or soon-to-be-finished materials
you've prepared.
To non-MIT people:
Don't ask me about the beta test, unfortunately I can't talk to you
about it. If you are wanting to participate in the test I'm not the
person to contact, selecting beta testers is up to WMS. Unfortunately
things are kinda busy around here so any email send to me from non-MIT
folks asking anything about the beta test will routed to /dev/null.
To MIT people who aren't faculty:
Pretty much the same as above, also a note that while I know there are
researchers around here who use Maple, I don't have sufficient time
and legal lattitude to let you play with the beta materials. I have to
focus on getting any academic concerns dealt with for the fall. Any I/S
consulting staff that want to participate in the testing to gear up for
the fall are welcome to contact me, but that's the only non-faculty
group that I can involve in this, at least from the standpoint of
time and probably also from the standpoint of the non-disclosure terms.
To people that work for other CAS vendors:
If you read this message your brain will self-destruct in 10 seconds.
