This is for MIT readers of the list only.
For any MIT-folks interested in Grobner basis algorithms, I just received
a copy of the draft of Gaston Gonnet's new paper "Computation of zero-
dimensional lexicographic Grobner basis in time polynomial in the factored
basis size." I only have a hard-copy version of the report, not an online
copy, or I'd put it in the techreports locker. If anybody is interested in
the report, just contact me and I'll drop a copy for you in the campus mail.
(For non-MIT readers of the list, alas, I cannot do international mailings
of the report. Prof. Gonnet is at the Institute for Scientific Computing,
ETH Zurich, Switzerland, so a reference librarian at your location may be
able to help you find a copy.)
