Dear Ms Schmidt,

I am a grduate student in civil engineering and I am
writing to you regarding the possibility
of installing on athena the next upcoming version of the
mathematical software for the analysis of dynamical systems:

   dstool

Such a software is state of the art and is public.
It has been developed at the centre for applied mathematic of
Cornell University.
It can be obtained by writing e-mail to

     back@math.cornell.edu (Allen Back, the Instructional Lab Director).

I have tried to install it on my directory but I was not
succesfull, due to my lack of knoledge of the Athena operative
system; it would have anyway occupied too much space on my machine.

So I would be delighted if Athena itself could make it
public domain and install it.

Regards

Paolo Sammarco
