IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT REGARDING THE MAPLE
FOR ENGINEERING DEMO DISK FOR DOS/WINDOWS

Waterloo Maple Software recently received
reports that some of the diskettes labeled
"Engineering Demonstration Diskettes" may
have been infected with the PC FORM Virus.
This virus is received by booting with an
infected floppy. It may corrupt the boot
sector on your hard disk, and it may corrupt
files. It is detected by all common virus
detection software. Floppies are infected
by copying files from the virus source
machine. The source of the virus has been
located, and the problem has been resolved.

If you have received an engineering demo disk
from Waterloo Maple Software during the months of
September through November 1993, please destroy
the disk.

ONLY DISKS LABELED "ENGINEERING DEMONSTRATION
DISKETTE" MAY BE AFFECTED.

THIS DOES NOT AFFECT THE MAPLE DISTRIBUTION
DISKS.

If you would like a replacement of the disk,
please contact Waterloo Maple Software, and
we'll promptly send you a new one. We
appreciate you co-operation, and apologize for
any inconvenience this may have caused.
