Prof. Kaashoek mentioned in lecture today something called "The Orange Book"
printed by the U.S. Department of Defense. This book outlines the various
classes of security that are labelled by the DoD. For example, a system
may be labelled C1 or C2. There is an excellent summary of these classifications
available at:
