I've finally found a couple of good reasons for installing and using
zephyr (I know - I'm slow) and it's very useful for what I want to
do. I have three questions ...
Has anyone implemented timeouts for zwgc windows? I use zephyr for
system problem notification, and some notifications, like high load,
have a limited usefullness lifetime, so I would like them to expire off my
screen after a while, instead of me coming back to a screenfull of
zwgc windows. Any ideas? I haven't stared at the code very much
yet.
zbrowser wouldn't work for me. I'm using the R4 twm, and zbrowser
wouldn't list any zwgc windows. If I kill twm, it seems to work.
My suspicion is that the twm parent window isn't called zwgc, so
zbrowser doesn't pay attention to it. Any ideas on how to work
around this?
And finally, the current zephyr distribution seems a couple of years
old now - I suspect that there might have been fixes and enhancements
in that time. Any plans for creating a new tar file for us to
hammer on??
Thanks for any information
