Sorry to bother you w/ inane questions, but these are just
begging to be answered . . .
I just read the papers on Zephyr && Kerberos, and had a couple of
questions:
i. The Univ. public access cluster (I guess our version of Athena)
is a bunch of workstations (mostly Sparcs && NeXT's) running AFS
(Andrew) and the Kerberos Authentication Service thingy (!). I
was wondering if anyone had Zephyr going on such beasts? If it
is, maybe I could persuade someone to install it, and make life
easier for moi.
ii. This is probably a bad question (since there is a newsgroup about
Kerberos), but our lab has a bunch of RS/6000's and RT's (running
AIX, not AOS), and I am so totally flustered w/ NIS and company,
that I began wondering if Kerberos would run on these?
I asked this to tony@athena.mit.edu, and he asked me to get in
touch w/ you.
