The public release of Zephyr 2.0 is now available on
athena-dist.mit.edu at pub/ATHENA/zephyr/dist/zephyr-2.0.tar.gz. This
release addresses most of the problems brought up by the beta testers
(whom I'd like to thank for their efforts), and I believe both the
server and the clients to be stable at this point. Please send
comments and bug reports about the Zephyr 2.0 release to
zephyr-bugs@mit.edu.
If there are significant bugs found in Zephyr 2.0, I will make a 2.0.1
release. Otherwise, the next release (Zephyr 2.1) will probably be
some time this fall, maybe later. Plans for the Zephyr 2.1 release
include incorporating Kerberos 5 support from GZA, incorporating
inter-realm support from CMU, and other improvements.
